I write news, reports and features for regional, national, online and overseas publications, largely in my main areas of expertise – health, food and nutrition.
I am especially interested in food allergy, food intolerance, coeliac disease and other gut or digestive disorders, as well as issues concerning food ingredients and labelling, weight loss and obesity, antioxidants, omega oils, functional foods, ‘free from’ foods (eg gluten free, dairy free etc), food and diet trends, vegetarianism / veganism, and future nutrition.
Besides these subjects, I also sometimes write on pregnancy and parenting issues – including infant and childhood nutrition, healthcare and learning – as well as on skincare and men’s health.

I currently write the men’s pages in both Vegetarian Living and Optimum Nutrition magazines.
Overseas, I’ve written for the Telegraph’s Body & Soul (Australia), Business Day (South Africa), The South China Morning Post (Hong Kong), and the New Zealand Herald, among many others.
