Tutoring, Writing Advice and Critiques

I’ve been a tutor with the Writers Bureau for over seven years, and teach non-fiction modules – including writing for magazines, writing for newspapers, writing non fiction books and all other forms of factual writing.

My blog, Mistakes Writers Make, is aimed at new and student writers of non-fiction, and features news, markets, advice and articles (as well as, obviously, mistakes).

With this background, I am qualified to critically assess non-fiction articles, book proposals or chapters, including corrections and comments on manuscripts, plus a typed critique and, where relevant or requested, a suggested reading list and market advice. Please email me for rates.
